Parboil Support
For help with Parboil, email support@parboil.app. Include the platform you use, the Parboil version shown in Settings, and a short description of what happened.
Do not include recipes, photos, invite links, or sync diagnostics unless they are relevant and you are comfortable sharing them.
iCloud sync
- Confirm that the device is signed in to iCloud and Parboil is allowed to use iCloud in system settings.
- Open Parboil Settings and check the sync status.
- If a household member cannot see recent changes, ask each participant to open Parboil while connected to the internet.
Recipe imports
Parboil works with most recipe pages, but some websites block automated access or do not publish structured recipe data. If an import fails, add the recipe manually or try importing a photo.
Timers
Timer alerts need notification permission. Without it, a countdown can continue while Parboil remains open but may not alert you after you leave the app.
TestFlight
External TestFlight builds expire after 90 days. If a build is unavailable or has expired, email support to ask about the next testing build.
